The Pegasus Pin is one of the primary sources of funding for the Kentucky Derby Festival, the nonprofit that typically hosts 70 annual events leading up to the Kentucky Derby, including Thunder Over Louisville and the Pegasus Parade.
The festival will consist of significantly fewer events in due to the coronavirus pandemic. There will be no crowds at the festival's major events this year , the nonprofit announced last month.
